Desmond Florence is a 21 year old queer freelancer living in the beautiful southeastern state of North Carolina. They moved away from their home state for the first time at 16, and has since been baked by the Southwestern sun, hardened by a Midwesten winter, and been awestruck by the concrete skylines of the Northeast.

Their art is heavily inspired by their travels, spirituality, love of colors, all things beautiful, their queerness, and their mental health journey. Desmond is committed to expressing as much of the spectrum of human emotion in their art as possible, but they expecially favor love, grief, growth, and resilience.

Desmond loves illustration, sculpture, cooking, creating music, and learning as many mediums of art as possible. They currently live with their partner, who is a musician, and their brother, who is earning a degree in biology, as well as a cat and dog.
